NanoCraft CBD - Waters FAQ

 What is CBD water?

CBD water is made by infusing water molecules with cannabidiol (CBD) particles. Through innovative nanotechnology, CBD molecules can be absorbed into your system faster, making them more readily and easily available for absorption and relief.

CBD infused water contains cannabidiol, which is derived from the cannabis plant. Since CBD is non-psychoactive, users will not experience a “high” or “euphoric feeling”.

How much CBD water should I drink?

The amount of CBD in each serving of CBD infused water fluctuates and varies by brand. Most companies provide around 2 - 5 mgs of CBD per infused water bottle (16 oz.).

The dosage recommendations can differ depending on the company. A  2012 study suggested that using a dosage of at least 150 mg/ day may exert beneficial effects for users.

So, hypothetically, you could have multiple waters a day and (depending on the mg amount of CBD in the water) you may feel the therapeutic effects.

Can CBD water get you high?

CBD water can’t necessarily get you “high”. Since CBD is the non-psychoactive component of the cannabis plant, it won’t have you feeling “stoned” or “euphoric”.

If the CBD is derived from the hemp plant, it may contain 0.0% - 0.3% THC, with most hemp-derived CBD containing 0.0% THC, the psychoactive component of the cannabis plant.

However, if the CBD is marijuana-derived, the percentage of THC present in the CBD may be higher. Thus, you may feel a slight “high” effect due to the THC in certain products.

How much does CBD water cost?

CBD water may cost anywhere from $4 - $10 USD per bottle, not including tax or shipping costs.

CBD infused waters are significantly more pricey than other forms of CBD, thus buying in bulk by get you more “bang for your buck”.

For instance, NanoCrafts CBD waters are $49.99 for a pack of 12, so that comes down to about $4.16 per bottle - not bad!

How much CBD is in NanoCraft CBD water?

Each Nanocraft CBD water bottle contains 10 mg of high-quality CBD, alongside vitamin B-12 and electrolytes. The cannabinoid particles are made using our innovative nanotechnology, utilizing the same quantum physics as our other CBD products.

Like we mentioned above, most CBD infused waters on the market only contain 2 - 5 mg per CBD water, our CBD water contains 10 mg of CBD per bottle. Win.

What is CBD infused water good for?

CBD water is good for reducing inflammation, improving overall mood, providing a sense of clarity and focus, promoting better sleep, along with many other therapeutic benefits.

CBD infused water may even help with alleviating headaches and migraines, muscle recovery, quality of life, and may help with anxiety symptoms.

Does CBD water have any side effects?

The potential side effects of CBD water ingestion may include:

  • Dry mouth
  • Lower blood pressure
  • Lightheadedness
  • Drowsiness

For the most part, CBD doesn’t have many, if any, side effects. Researchers have even considered CBD as generally safe, non-toxic, non-addictive, and well-tolerated.

Can CBD water show up on a drug test?

It is possible that CBD water may show up on a drug test.

Most drug screening tests are looking for levels of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), not necessarily cannabidiol (CBD). If the CBD capsules are hemp-derived, having less than 0.3% THC, for instance, it is possible that it may not show up on a drug test.

However, that goes without saying, drug screening tests may test for a wider array of substances, that do include THC, CBD, and others, assessing for any and all levels of illegal substances.

What are the benefits of CBD water?

CBD water may offer various effects and benefits. CBD hemp water may provide you with a sense of calmness, relaxation, and focus, as well as the potential to assist with a mood boost, help your ache, and many others.

CBD water dramatically increases the bioavailability of the cannabis compound. Less needs to be consumed in order to experience CBD's effects.

CBD water feels like a sense of relaxation. Users may feel its effects over time, sometimes without even noticing that they feel more calm. Keep in mind, CBD water may affect each person differently.

Is CBD water legal?

CBD water is federally legal IF it does not contain more than 0.3% THC. If the CBD is hemp derived, with 0.0% - 0.3% THC, it is considered legal under the 2018 Farm Bill.

Federally, marijuana is still illegal. However, certain states, such as California and Colorado, have legalized marijuana for recreational purposes.

So in short, we highly recommend researching the cannabis regulations, legalization, and guidelines for CBD in the state you reside in.

Is there an age requirement to buy CBD water?

CBD water that is made from plants growing in a licensed cultivation facility can be purchased at dispensaries to adults 21 and over.

Most dispensaries or smoke shops check identification and require that individuals be 21 years of age or older.

How long does CBD water take to work?

It has been suggested that it takes about 20 - 30 minutes to feel the effects of CBD water.

CBD water may take longer or shorter to be absorbed into your body though, depending on the numerous factors: body weight, metabolic rate, composition of CBD, quality and type of CBD, and the method of administration.

CBD must first be delivered into our bloodstream to be absorbed. Once in the bloodstream, the CBD can enter the endocannabinoid system (ECS), where cannabinoid receptors in CBD can bond with our body’s receptors.

Since drinking CBD water is consumed orally, it may take longer for your body to absorb the CBD since it needs to be metabolized and digested in the liver and pancreas for you to feel the effects.

How long does CBD water stay in your system?

CBD water can stay in your system for 2 days to 7 days, depending on the dosage, frequency, metabolism, and type of CBD.

A 1991 study examined various doses of CBD and its concentration of CBD in the bloodstream. Participants were taking up to 700 mg of CBD a day and researchers determined that the endocannabinoid levels in the blood remained “virtually undetectable”.

Accurate information as to just how long cannabidiol stays in your system remains limited so far. More research is needed.
