Born and raised in Michigan, Kyle's snowboarding career began at the mere age of 3, riding down the driveway after every fresh snowfall. at 5, he was a regular rider at alpine valley, taking on the slopes no matter what the weather conditions. His dedication to the sport caused heads to turn at Burton, offering him a sponsorship at age 7. In 2009, at the age of only 12, Kyle took first place in the Burton Open Junior Jam. This win skyrocketed his career to new heights. In 2011, he received a well-deserved invitation to join the US snowboarding team. Fast forward a few years, at the 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympics, Kyle went on to win the silver medal in the Men's Big Air final. Just weeks after placing second at the l.a. stopping the air & style tour, Kyle took first place in men’s slopestyle at the 2016 US open snowboarding championship on vail mountain in colorado, one of his greatest accomplishments to date. There are only more great things to come for this young, gravity defying rockstar.
