What is Pure CBD Oil?

CBD is a nonpsychoactive chemical compound that naturally occurs in the cannabis plant. It is one of the compounds in cannabis known as cannabinoids. It is widely considered to have excellent medical benefits and has been used with holistic applications for centuries. Interestingly, it is also used to make textiles and building materials like clothing, rope, paper, oil and concrete. In medicines, it is normally used by patients in the form of oil. Impressively, CBD does not have mind-altering effects. It does not cause the feeling of being high but induces relaxation without the intoxicating effects. There are three varieties of CBD. CBD Isolate, which is CBD molecules completely isolated into a 99.8% pure compound. Broad spectrum CBD, which contains all the natural occurring terpenes and cannabinoids in the hemp plants but the THC has been isolated away from the final product. Full spectrum oil refers to the oil containing all the naturally according cannabinoids and terpenes in eluding THC. However, the amount of detectable THC must be 0.3% or less for the product to be considered  hemp and therefore federally legal.

WHERE TO PURCHASE?

ONLINE-eCOMMERCE

MOM & POP SHOP... AND EVERYWHERE ELSE!

Besides shopping online, you can buy CBD products in retail shops or over the counter at places like Whole Foods, Sprouts, Barber Shops, Gyms, Nutrition stores and similar natural markets. The advantage is you get to see the products before you purchase and you can also ask questions to clarify what you don’t understand. You also get to look at other products that you might be interested in and learn more about others that you might need. To get safe products, you should ask about the third-party test results because some companies take advantage and make products that do not have enough CBD. Also, to get the right products you should research more on the products. If it is exceedingly cheap to be true, then avoid it!!  Yes, this is because you might end up buying an inferior product which will not have the required benefits and may contain contaminants. Furthermore, check the labels to ensure you don’t buy illegal or dangerous untested products... Poor quality products do slip through the cracks!!

Here is a guide for purchasing high-quality CBD.

MEDICINAL MARIJUANA SHOPS.

In areas where the use of CBD is legal, there are medical cannabis dispensaries which offer CBD-rich products. In this case, a medical doctor must certify patients before purchasing CBD oil. Furthermore, the doctor must be registered with the state’s medical-marijuana program. More importantly, the dispensaries must meet the standards which are set by the law. Usually, the state conducts routine background checks on the owner of the dispensaries and the staff working there. In the same token, security requirements and licensing guidelines must be met. The products at the dispensaries should be tested to ensure safety.

CBD - HEMP vs. MARY JANE AKA: MARIJUANA

Not all CBD is created equal, but there is often some confusion between CBD that is derived from hemp versus that is derived from marijuana. It's important for consumers looking to buy Pure CBD oil to understand the difference between the two in terms of its legality and efficacy before making a purchase.

To make the distinction between the two, it helps to gain an understanding of hemp and marijuana, both of which come from the cannabis sativa plant species. Hemp plants have been around for decades and are typically used for the production of all sorts of different commercial products. It's a legal product that's widely available on many store shelves, especially since the recent pass of the farm bill. Historically, this plant is predominantly grown for its durable fiber.

On the other hand, marijuana is a shorter and wider plant that is mainly grown for its flowers and buds. This plant is typically grown specifically to be smoked for recreational and medical purposes or for cannabinoid extraction.

Perhaps the biggest difference between hemp and marijuana is the THC and CBD content. Both are cannabinoids, but THC has psychoactive properties and interacts directly with CB1 and CB2 receptors, whereas CBD does not. Marijuana is typically bred to have high levels of THC, while hemp is cultivated to have minimal THC (if any at all). While THC and CBD are both cannabinoids, they're very different.

Since THC is federally illegal, medical marijuana can only be lawfully bought and used in the handful of states that have legalized it including California, Oregon and Washington. On the other hand, hemp is legal because of its minimal or non-existent THC levels, meaning it is readily accessible everywhere. As such, the CBD oil that is extracted from hemp is also much more widely available and legal for purchase and use.

Hemp-derived CBD oil is safe for use by just about everyone including children, pets, and pregnant or nursing women who prefer a natural product over traditional pharmaceuticals.

In contrast, marijuana-derived CBD oil may not be safe for consumption for everyone mainly because of the THC content of this particular plant.
