Don't Think You're Feeling CBD Oil Effects? Here's Why

Don't Think You're Feeling CBD Oil Effects? Here's Why - NanoCraft

Have you just embarked on a CBD oil regimen after hearing all the hype about it, but still aren't seeing all its glorious effects? There could be a reason for that.

CBD-short for cannabidiol-has been sparking plenty of interest recently thanks to all of its scientifically-proven medical and health benefits.

Why Aren't You Feeling The Effects of CBD?

The effects of CBD are usually subtle, despite how powerful its effects can be inside your body. But if you feel as though you're not experiencing the effects of cannabidiol after consuming it, there may be some reasons why. Everyone feels the benefits of CBD differently, and there are a few reasons why CBD oil products impact everyone a little differently.

CBD Won't Get You High

It's not uncommon for some people to incorrectly think they'll experience some sort of altered state of mind after taking CBD. Since CBD comes from cannabis plants, some users may confuse this cannabinoid with THC, the latter of which is that has psychoactive effects and gets users "high." But CBD is not psychoactive at all, so it won't cause any mind-altering effects. Instead, what CBD does to the mind is relax it and makes it sharper.

You Need to Take The Right Dose

It might just be that you're not talking enough of CBD to experience its powerful effects. It's important to find the right dose for you in order for CBD to work its magic. But it's certainly wise to start off at a small dose and work your way up. The first time you take cannabidiol oil, you might not feel any relief from your symptoms because your dose might be too low. A few milligrams might work for some people, but others might need high doses such as 1,200mg or more if their symptoms are more intense.

Your Physical Health Plays a Role

How CBD affects you depends to some degree on your physical health. If you're relatively healthy and don't have any major health issues, CBD likely won’t have as dramatic of an effect as it would for someone with health problems who suffers every day. People who suffer from a serious health condition can experience significant effects by using CBD hemp oil.

For instance, a patient with inflammation in the joints often claim to feel pain relief very soon after taking CBD. But anyone who is healthy and has no serious issues with chronic pain probably won’t feel the effects of CBD so strongly. Such differences are deeply rooted in every person's biochemistry, which leads CBD to affect each individual differently.

Different CBD Hemp Strains May Have Different Effects

In addition to your body's biochemistry, physical health and psychological state, the actual strain of CBD could be a contributing factor to how this cannabinoid affects you. There are several different cannabis strains, each with varying levels of cannabinoids. Depending on the specific strain of cannabis that the CBD is extracted from, the effects can differ quite a bit.

As such, you can have different experiences with each CBD strain. While you might have a strong reaction to one type of strain, you might not react much at all with another. In this case, you may have to experiment with different strains to find the one that works best for you.

Your Body Fat May be Hindering CBD Absorption

Cannabinoids, like CBD, are attracted to fat, so the amount of fat that you have on your body could have an impact on CBD's effect on you. If you have a high level of body fat, that could interfere to some degree with the absorption of CBD into your blood. The more the CBD is absorbed by fat cells, the less of the dose will be permitted to circulate in your system and take effect.

The Quality of The CBD Product is Lacking

While there are plenty of high-quality CBD hemp oil products out there, a number of other products are low in quality. Many CBD products are not as potent as they should be, and this could interfere with its effects on your body. Unfortunately, there is also the possibility that certain CBD products do not contain the same amount of CBD that is listed on the label. That’s why it’s crucial for you to do your research on the manufacturer and the product itself before making a purchase.

CBD can provide some incredible effects on the mind and body. From alleviating anxiety, seizures, chronic pain and having anti-inflammatory effects, CBD has some amazing healing properties. But if you're taking CBD and aren't feeling the effects you thought you would, there are reasons why. If this is the case, consider experimenting with different products and doses until you achieve your desired result.
