One of Nanocraft’s missions is to help our customers overcome the obstacles holding them back from living their healthiest, happiest, and most active lives. That's what makes hearing testimonials from our customers so rewarding.
Recently we heard an inspiring story from one of our customers, Colin.
Colin is a typical outdoor adventurer who enjoys skateboarding, snowboarding, surfing, dirt biking, and fishing. Unfortunately, one day when riding his dirt bike, Colin took a nasty spill.
The accident left Colin with several injuries, including a broken collarbone which had to be operated on. After surgery, Colin began his long road to recovery. Struggling with pain and mobility issues in his collarbone, shoulder, and elbow, as well as difficulty sleeping from the pain, Colin sought ways in which he could reduce his pain.
Hesitant to use prescription painkillers, Colin turned to CBD for a more natural route to recovery. Colin had never used CBD before his dirt biking accident, and was doubtful about whether it would even work for him.
Colin found that each product helped him address his pain and mobility issues which were hindering him from returning to his active lifestyle.
The Muscle & Joint stick has allowed Colin to relieve some of the pain and immobility in his shoulder and elbow. Meanwhile, the Gold Series tincture has helped Colin fight the pain which was keeping him up at night. To top things off, the Green Superfood Powder, which he mixes into his smoothie every morning, has given Colin a much needed energy boost to get through the day.
We are so happy to hear that our products have helped Colin in his long recovery process, and that he has been able to resume his active lifestyle.
CBD for Pain Relief
Colin’s story shows the immense potential there is for CBD to address pain. With the rise in people seeking alternatives to prescription painkillers, CBD has the opportunity to help provide many people with natural and non-addictive pain relief.
Although research on CBD is fairly new and limited, studies have already shown promising results for using CBD to treat pain and inflammation.
One study found that cannabinoids such as CBD can suppress inflammatory and neuropathic pain in rodents. The study found that these cannabinoids reduce pain and inflammation by targeting a3 glycine receptors.
In December 2018, CBD was removed from the list of schedule 1 substances by the US Government. Now that CBD is no longer classified as a schedule 1 substance, we look forward to new studies emerging about the use of CBD to treat pain!
